About David Bohl and Slow Down Fast

"Slowing down fast means pulling up the e-brake on a life that's veering out of control, or darned close to it. It begins with acknowledging to yourself that 'I'm going through the motions on autopilot, and I don't like how this feels.
'"
- David Bohl, Life Coach and Lifestyle Designer, in Support of "The Good Slow"
I came to an epiphany in my own professional and personal life that inspired me to initiate the Slow Down Fast movement. My premise: when you recognize that it's time to slow down fast, you realize that you can't be all things to all people. You'll wear yourself into the ground trying.
Slow down fast means making a concerted effort to literally slow down. Open your eyes. Look around, and really see what's before you. Begin to act deliberately and consciously, in support of your own beliefs and values. Slip into the driver's seat of your life, and set forth on your personal adventure, whatever that may be.
When we slow down fast, we remind ourselves to appreciate all the beauty this world has to offer, and to identify our place in the grand plan.
So: what does slow down fast mean for you, personally?
For starters, it means finding out what's at the heart of your best life - the one meant for you alone - and begin living according to that vision.
It may take more than a few adjustments before arriving at that place of being fully awake, alive, and in awe of all that surrounds you. I'm excited to see you take the first step; and as a certified life coach, I'm here to support you along your journey.
You'll find many helpful resources here that will help you live a life that's custom-designed for you alone. Come on in, have a look around, and settle in with some good reading.
