Craig,

Thank you for sharing that with Vicki and me. I'm delighted that you could relate to what I (we) actually experienced and resurrected myself from. Redemption will take some time ...

What an incredible journey you're on! Congratulations on your ability to 'get back to the basics' and to live a life and lifestyle that supports your beliefs, values, and ambitions. I'm convinced that you'll be successful in creating a great lifestyle for your family and yourself.

Please accept my warm regards for you, Belinda, and your family.

David

P.S. You made my day!

David and Vicki,
As I read this post I saw my life in what you were saying, the door had probably been opened a few times for me as well but I wasn't looking for it. I was lucky I suffered a back injury that MADE me re-assess my life and it was then that I realised what was important in life and it wasn't the house or the car or the business that took me away from my family. Vicki you must be a very patient person, as is my partner Belinda, thank god for people like you!
Wishing you all the best.

Vicki,

I couldn't see that at the time, but I do now.

Thank you for your patience.

As your wife, I felt for you during that time, while I taught the kids to read, the early, awful, soccer games that you missed. We WERE living "the life", but the simple everyday moments that you mostly missed were the most precious. I'll take the smaller house and fewer toys in order to have you as an active father and husband!
