We search hungrily for people in the world who will confirm our hunches, validate our emotions, and concur with our likes and dislikes. If you don’t care for what one individual has to say, you keep Googling until you find someone who does share your point of view. Is it any wonder that the X and Y generations display such irreverent humor and disregard for authority? It’s because they’ve discovered that, to some extent, “authority” has become a self-affixed label.”
