I’m a stay at home mum, but classed as a wahm - I work at home. In other words I do work other than housework and get paid for it. Best decision I ever made. I’ve brought up a family of 5 daughters and looked after our household in the process. But, I don’t know how I would have managed if I didn’t have that income, coming in - my husband certainly wouldn’t be able to pay me a wage and look after the family financially too.
