Do You Make the Mistake of getting Hungry, Angry, Lonely, and/or Tired?

The next time you have one of those days where you can’t get anything done, you feel irritable, etc. stop and think about how well you slept the night before (or even the past couple nights). For me personally I’ve noticed that lack of sleep seems to be the underlying cause when I’m having one of those days. Time Management: Focus and Getting Results

Time management doesn’t really make sense because you can’t manage time. It’s not about how much you get done in a particular block of time it’s about getting the results you need from that time. When you focus a certain amount of time to a certain task you can spend that time focusing completely on that certain task and you don’t have to be thinking that you should be working on something else. If you set aside a two hour period to accomplish a certain task and that task is completed then you focused your time wisely and use good time management. Decide what results you need from a certain time period, determine your focus for that time and practice focusing on the current task and working toward the desire result. (more…)
