Well, I have a long, long list of things to be grateful for. My life is good.

But right now, I'm mostly grateful that my 1-year-old son was unhurt after a nasty spill. Yesterday he fell off a 4-feet-tall wall, onto a concrete sidewalk. Didn't even have a bruise on his body that I could see. Phew!

David,

This article and principles within are well needed in our lives and communities, as this clearly defines and outlines the true essence of the Law of Attraction.

Having known little about the LOA nearly three years ago, the first I absorbed what I thought it was, was in the book "The Secret". Immediately thinking the book was the all mighty answer to my goals and dreams, I didn't realize was that there was more to the secret than they shared in both the book and movie.

Ignorantly, I, like many others, assumed that if I merely think good things will happen, they will. And so my reticular activator was turned on, bringing both resources and instances of the LOA into my life. What I failed to do was research the concept further initially, taking what I learned from one mere resource and believing it was gold.

After disappointment that my great thoughts didn't generate anything that the book or movie promised, numerous hours were spent and books read sharing exactly what you have with this article.

It is all too easy to fuss and fight with ourselves because we don't get what we want, or we don't have what the Jones' have. By choice or not, that negativity and ungratefulness not only reflects what we feel are we are, and what we think our accomplishments are, but more importantly impacts the way others around us act and react - especially our immediate family and friends.

I completely agree that we need to express our gratitude more, freely and consistently, which would positively and contagiously effect those we interact with daily. A sense of gratitude to whom ever for what ever must be expressed, whether within ourselves or verbally / physically, for many reasons.

There are so many benefits to doing this, many of which you shared, but also to build and maintain our confidence and positive sense of self. Intentionally or not, we tear ourselves down when we think and act negatively, and just as you said we draw negative things into our life.

The LOA, along with the other universal principles, are essential to know and implement in our lives to build and maintain strong interpersonal and external relationships, along with confidence and esteem.

Thank you for putting this out for others to revisit or discover!
