Overwhelm is far too common. We are a society that has been taught that we can do it all ourselves, so we overlook many resources that could help lower the stress. Outsourcing is a great way to lower the stress and keep control of the things you enjoy doing. As a Virtual Assistant, many people outsource to me, and yet even I use outsourcing to help balance my load.

There are people like me that handle business tasks for busy professionals, but there are also people who will do your shopping, clean your house, do your lawnwork, etc. I always suggest making a list of the things you have to do and delegating those you least enjoy doing - a quick way to relieve stress and increase your happiness!

Jennifer,

Absolutely! One might even say that it's a balance between awareness and control.

Wow! Those are good suggestions. Becoming aware of where you do spend your time and where you want to spend your time is key. Peace can never be present in your life if your time is in control of you instead of you being in control of it. It's all about awareness and control.
