Hey, great post!!! I have just started adding serious hobbies to my life and got scared, actually. The feeling of working all the time is a comfortable thing. Feeling satisfaction and fulfillment, that thing inside that tells you you've engaged all your talents and abilities, and maybe even been stretched some, is not too common for me. I was shocked to see myself asking if I should be feeling this good. Whoa! What a revelation. Of course, I should. And the fulfillment I get from my hobbies, the interaction with others, wowie-zowie!!! Much better than work EVER could be!!! This has so changed my life. Thanks for the posts that confirm what I am finding to be true!!!

Excellent post, and so true. Between work, emerging work-related pursuits (my blog network), kids, spouse and all of their attendent responsibilities, time is tight. I make time to run for exercise, which I enjoy immensely. My goal is to have time playing music more often. If I had a little free time each day to play guitar, I'd be that much closer to bliss!
