For example, it could be earning $1m each year or getting away with only working 9-5 and doing the minimum. I do think in both examples the individual has decided to be successful, so I don't necessarily agree with your point, 'First, you have to decide to be successful'. I do agree with your point regarding 'copy traits from successful people'. I have often found the easiest, quickest and simplest way to become successful is to find someone who already is (with your definition of success) and discover what they do.
