But, since around late 2003, I found myself drawn more and more to what Ricardo Semler is getting at in his book, "The Seven Day Weekend": "Success is NOT measured only in profits and growth". In 9 words I think he's encapsulated a whole new model for how to think and work in an always-on 24 x 7 business world - at least, that's how it is on Wall Street. Especially now!! I really love the ethos behind his idea because it helps my "business self" keep some proportion with the person I truly am - especially when times are super busy as they are right now.
